Application procedure

The EDP is meant for a limited number of high quality students with a basic degree, BA, BSc or BS, Diploma, Licence, or equivalent, in any field. They should have, or be prepared to acquire rapidly, a good knowledge of calculus, linear algebra, probability and statistics. They should know English and the language required for the preliminary course work. Each institution will handle admission formalities and grant advanced standing in appropriate cases. Students whose initial training did not include adequate background in either economics or mathematics or statistics will usually be required to undertake a qualifying year of directed study in the relevant area or areas to facilitate transferring their fields of study prior to entry into the preliminary year program of the EDP.
Applications for admission should be received not later than mid-March. Scholarships should be obtained by each student from sources in his/her home country or from cultural exchange programs.
